Padova is one of our favorite cities in Italy - small but vibrant and full of history with more locals than tourists. The beautiful apartment at Palace Carpe Diem will be one of the highlights of our trip. Recently renovated with incredible attention to detail, you will feel like you’re living like a local resident. It’s a very clean property that is being meticulously maintained. The views from the apartment and the location could not be better. This is a gem of a property and it’s perfect in every way - AC, spacious and spotless bathroom, very comfortable mattress and pillows, elevator (!) and some rooms have small kitchens. The owner and staff are incredibly nice and attentive. Also, there’s a great coffee shop and excellent croissants literally next door. Palace Carpe Diem is the whole package and we highly recommend it!

It was impossible to fault this lovely suite. There were cooking facilities (an oven, kettle and crockery) but no kitchen sink, due to the historic nature of the building. However our things were washed for us each morning by the cleaner. This was actually very easy.

Great location; walk everywhere from here; beautiful outlook over the central square; comfortable bed, good shower, quiet and dark at night. Lovely architecture;

Nothing -it was perfect; but if I must say something…The dried flower arrangements detract from the lovely minimalism. Would be more aesthetic without them.

Good breakfast in a neighbouring café but paid through Carpe Diem. Continental style croissant and coffee.

It's a little bit noisy at the weekend when the square outside is used for public events even though the sound proofing is good. On the plus side, you get a great view from the balcony!
