The host Mauro is an absolute gent, a really nice man. Great communication prior to arrival and met us in person to hand over the keys and show us around. He was also very enthusiastic about the area & recommended places to visit and to eat (Home grown Prickly Pears were a first for us :-) Facilities were great, we didnt feel that we were short of anything. Nice spacious apartment with two big bedrooms and two very nice, and large, bathrooms & showers. Air conditioning in every room (a relief when the temp during the day was 30+) Wifi and a Smart TV as well. A small Supermarket if you need one is a 5 minute drive away. Nicely secluded & quiet location with outside dedicated parking and access to a private patio with table and chairs overlooking some lovely countryside. Only 15 minutes by car into Lucca (which was lovely) and 30 minutes to Pisa with Siena and Florence about an hour away. Pretty much a perfect location. If you choose to stay you won't be disappointed..

We had a really lovely stay at La Capanna di Arturo Primo Piano. The apartment is beautiful, clean and very tastefully decorated. If you feel like cooking, you can easily do that too and just enjoy a quiet evening at home. The highlight for us was definitely the private terrace with its amazing view. We spent so many lovely evenings there, just sitting outside and enjoying the view. There’s also a beautiful garden with lots of cozy places to sit and some nice spots to cool down when it gets hot in summer. The garden is full of olive and fig trees, and we were even allowed to try some of the fruit – which was such a nice little extra. Mauro, the host, is super nice, relaxed and helpful. We had some really nice conversations with him and he also gave us lots of great tips for places to visit and things to do in the area. Thanks again, Mauro! The location is great as well. There’s a grocery store nearby and several really nice places to eat.

Accoglienza e host davvero ottimi, Mauro ci ha accolto calorosamente e con tanti consigli per trascorre al meglio la nostra vacanza. Posizione panoramica bellissima, terrazza privata sul verde, ambienti interni ben curati e funzionali. Ci siamo trovanti molto bene, consigliato!
