The room can get a bit cramped, for access to the storage locker. Some people forget that leaving their footwear in front of your locker is just a bit dumb.

I highly recommend a stay at El Boussini hotel . I stayed in both the dorm and private room. The beds are very comfortable, with excellent sheets and pillows and AC works well. I used a big scarf to cover the window at night. There are many bathrooms available to use, with hot water. The hotel is well maintained and kept extremely clean. The hotel felt like a ' home from home' to rest & recharge from the heat of Marrakesh. Youssef, the hotel manager, provides a welcoming, relaxed environment where I met other lovely travellers. There are many different areas to relax in the interior with beautiful decorative tile work. Two outdoor terraces give options for both sun and shade and drying laundry. Youssef was extremely helpful with communication. In advance of my stay, he messaged me to confirm my check-in time, ensure I knew the hotel location, and assist with transport options. Youssef was always polite and happy to answer any question, both practical and cultural. He gave useful information about local customs and tourist etiquette, and we had many interesting chats about Moroccan life and politics. I am very grateful for his generosity with politeness, time and patience. The stay at El Boussini enriched my experience both in Marrakesh and beyond. The breakfast was the best I received at any of my stays. The lockable chests in the room are very useful for all your belongings, and assistance is given with a padlock if you do not have one. Youssef could be contacted on the phone to open the door 24 hours, and the locked door at night provided security for guests choosing to stay in. I slept well at the hotel and felt extremely safe. The local area is interesting, and the main square and other attractions are within walking distance. Petit taxis are also nearby.
