The Fern is a lovely home nestled in the woods. We spent our vacation building puzzles on the big table, reading on the screened porch, and just being together. The home had everything we needed and more.

Enjoyed our stay!!! Cabin cozy, clean, comfy, spacious, decorated nice and loved the MD touch seeing we from there. Dog friendly and leaving treats for her was special touch. Enjoyed!!!

It was well equipped. Beds very comfortable. The deck and screened in porch well supplied with comfy chairs and table. Huge refrigerator and freezer. Just overall comfort and relaxation. Close to Berkley Springs for restaurants if you chose.

I stayed here the week bridging Christmas and New years, and had a nice stay. The house had plenty of room for me and my pup. Very private. And the park at the east entrance was a lovely surprise to let my dog run around. Loved the fireplace, but it was difficult to find wood in the area. They said that they provided it, but there was only three logs. I was there for 7 nights. My only major issue is their check in process. You have to go 30 min away to get access to the property. And they only informed me of this a couple of days before the trip. Really inconvenient if you are coming anywhere but from the north. I had to change plans around in order to drop the card back off when leaving. But otherwise i had a really great time.
