The Residence Douz

Un séjour exceptionnel à The Residence Douz ! Nous avons passé un séjour absolument magnifique. Le personnel est très chaleureux, attentionné et disponible, toujours avec le sourire, et a largement contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. L’hôtel est très calme et reposant, ce qui est vraiment appréciable pour profiter pleinement du séjour. Tout était réuni pour passer un excellent moment. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Dépaysement total. La suite villa tellement agréable que ça va être difficile d’aller dans des hôtels classiques à étage. Le spa magnifique avec le personnel au petit soin. Le personnel tout confondu très gentil et attentionné. À refaire !

La piscine qui reste classique. J’aurais aimé quelque chose de plus intimiste avec des coins parasol qui soient plus typiques du sud.

We stayed at Residence Douz for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and welcoming, with excellent food and truly outstanding service. The whole team was incredibly friendly and made us feel very well taken care of throughout our stay. A special highlight was the spa. I had an amazing massage – honestly one of the best I’ve ever had! A huge thank you to my massage therapist, Nourhene, who was extremely attentive, professional and skilled. She made the experience truly special. I would also like to personally thank the service manager, Khalifa, and our waiter, Ali, for their kindness, attentiveness and excellent service. Thank you to the entire Residence Douz team for making our four days so enjoyable and memorable. We would happily come back and definitely recommend this hotel!

Komend vanuit Tozeur werden we na een taxirit van 2 uur afgezet bij het hotel. We werden met een welkomsdrankje ontvangen. Check in ging snel en daarna met een buggy naar de kamer (villa) gebracht. De kamer is ruim en mooi ingericht. Comfortabele en ook ruime badkamer. In de ochtend een heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt met omelet naar keuze. Personeel is behulpzaam en heel vriendelijk. Groot zwembad in prachtig aangelegde tuin, waar je overdag kan afkoelen, Dat was nodig bij temperaturen boven de 40 gr.C.. De middagborrel bij Ali aan de bar. Hele enthousiaste man die het vak verstaat, altijd vriendelijk en goede humor, top! In de avond naar het restaurant met Tunesisch en Franse keuken waar ze ook een mooie wijnkaart hebben. Kortom, het is goed uit te houden bij Residence Douz aan de rand van de Sahara. Ali en de rest van team Residence, bedankt.
