The James Hotel

Loved the location, the decor and above all else, the people. The girl on reception was really friendly and helpful with lots of suggestions and the owner (I'm guessing) was the nicest guy and offered us complimentary coffee/breakfast on our final morning since I had booked multiple rooms for a group - the gesture was much appreciated and the Irish hospitality goes a long way. The hotel is in the perfect location with everything within walking distance, lots of good coffee spots and shops nearby and the hotel had live music in the bar on Saturday night. The views from the suite are beautiful over the town - I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Pillows were a bit hard for my personal liking but that was quickly rectified by the hotel staff who swapped them out for softer pillows.

Location was fantastic, right near city center and lots of restaurants, pubs and parking. Room was spacious and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant/pub was great for multigenerational dinner. Air conditioning worked well.

Only downside was that parking was either on the street or in a surface lot, but there were many options.

Rooms were good.

Very unsatisfactory arrangements regarding breakfast. The continental breakfast was inadequate for e7.50 and the full breakfast was too expensive at e17.50. Also, a normal hotel practice is to provide breakfast for its guests seven days a week. Not shut down on odd days.
