great location, great place - loved it. Absolutely would recommend if you want to use as a base.

I like the fact there is communication but there were so many emails and texts / notifications it was a bit of a faff to find the info we needed. If i book via booking.com i don't then want 20 emails from Sykes.

We did a bit of self catering. There is just not enough storage to put anything away tbh. It all had to sit on the surfaces. Not a first world problem just a bit of feedback

8 / 10

Very enjoyable stay, with a few tweaks it would be 10/10

Lovely views of the hills with modern, bright interior. Great family dining table. Well located but peaceful. Comfortable sofa. Lots of storage space to hang up clothes and a good entry way for walking boots/coats etc.

We had a great stay with a few minor things we’d change in order to make it perfect. The beds were very soft and we all struggled with sore backs by the end of the week. Although mattress firmness is completely individual, all 5 of us struggled to get a comfortable sleep due to this and the type of duvet covers being used (think noisy/crinkly hospital sheets). Access to a sweeping brush or hoover would have been good to keep the floors and carpets clean and sweep up some dust behind the fire etc that had been overlooked by the cleaner. There was a dustpan under the sink but it’s not feasible to do an entire floor with this. There was no iron/iron board so having a washing machine kind of defeated the purpose as we couldnt reuse anything and couldn’t tidy up items that had become creased in the suitcase, especially before eating out at some lovely restaurants. The hot water in the showers did run cold twice, this seemed to happen if more than 2 people had showers at the same time.

Wat een prachtig uitzicht en modern huis , goede buurt voor wandelingen en whiskytasting

Niets , misschien een vaatdoek en sponsje bijvoegen in de keuken ?
