We had a great trip at this beautiful property! Very private, and secluded but still close to everything! Very comfortable beds and very clean! Thank you for a wonderful stay! It was perfect!

We loved this place!!! Between the main house and the guest house, there was the perfect amount of space for two couples and four kids. The property is fantastic, and couldn't possibly be more private. Even though it was very cold, the grandkid had a great time playing in and around the creek! The location is convenient to Boone, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountin, Sugar and Beech. We arrived after dark, and found that there were a couple of trees down across the road into the property. We were able to immediately contact the owner, who had someone come remove the trees within 15 minutes. It snowed a few inches overnight during our stay, but we had no problem getting in or out and driving up and down the mountain to the highway (with 4WD). We will definitely look at booking here again next time we're in the area.

The property was beautiful and quiet. You can explore the woods around you or just walk down the long gravel rd. The cabin was bright , and sunny and had a wonderful fully equpped kitchen to prepare our meals. We love the front porch, the view is beautiful. The owners made sure we had a clean cabin with plenty of towels and plenty of hotwater. We were never without internet service and plenty of TV's throughout the cabin. The biggest reason we chose this cabin was the seperate guest cabin. My young grandon was able to stay at the guest cabin with his parents, his naps and bedtime were not disturbed and the main house could socialize later into the evening. The drive in makes you feel like you are in your own private forest. We were greeted by a deer and when you drive into the property you will see little streams and boulders and beautiful hardwood all around you. The owners truly made this a perfect Thanksgiving getaway.
