We had an excellent stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It had everything we needed, and the location was perfect. The host was responsive (let us check in two hours early) and made the entire process easy from check-in to check-out. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

We waited on the driveway about an hour until VRBO was successful reaching the owner and we got a check in code. Our message and call to the owner was unsuccessful initially. After gaining entrance, things went smoothly and communication was fine. The inside of the home was clean. We had a lovely time in the area. The curb appeal is poor with a sea of tall weeds and blackberries, but you need only to stay on the driveway to access the house so it was functional. We came inside each evening from the hot tub after a skunk made its way across the backyard. It seems to live under the small deck adjacent the back bedroom.

This house was very clean and had everything we needed. My family cooks a lot, and the kitchen has every possible supply we could need (cutting boards, pots pans, etc) while making dinner on 4 different nights. We ended up with a flat tire on our drive to Pollock Pines, so the location- walking distance to a car parts store (and many other businesses) served us well. Having 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms spread out throughout the house also meant that everyone had plenty of space to do their own thing. Finally, we were delighted to discover a beautiful small lake just down the street that we could stroll around in the evenings.

Clean home, most needed items already in home, fast and easy communication with host, lots to do in surrounding area and lots of trails and cute downtown/old town exploring opportunities, and would recommend to friends and family to stay. Items to consider bringing for future stay: extra towels for spa use, step stool for high cupboards or kiddos to reach sinks, portable mop or vacuum since surrounding area is hiking trails.
