Close to Kings Park and gardens. Breakfast was great. Dinner good too.
The bathroom. Not private enough. A shower cubicle and a toilet cubicle. No dressing area. But all the bathroom fittings were very nice.

The breakfast was good and was freshly maintained. The beds were super comfy and the cleanliness of the entire hotel was excellent. We ate one meal there, chips and squid which was fine.
Parking is tight to say the least. I would have been worried about the car getting scratched in a hire car. Booking.com did not advise us of the name change to Mercure so we did do a few loops of Mounts Bay Road searching for Aurea Hotel?

Friendly staff, clean rooms and within walking distance of Kings Park and Perth city centre. Barista coffee was available from 6 am.
Very small room with nowhere to store your suitcases. There was only hanging space. The bathroom arrangement was modern but not very private. The hand basin and mirror were part of the room tucked away by a partition, so if you turned on the light or tap, your partner would be disturbed. The shower and toilet cubicles had swinging doors that didn’t lock which doesn’t allow for much privacy
