Beautiful home!!! Bonus---While drinking our coffee in the morning on the porch, we saw elk on the path on the north side of the house!!!!

By far, Charley’s Cabin is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at! Wonderfully appointed with beautiful furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen. I can’t say enough about Angie, our host. She made sure we were safe and secure during Hurricane Helene. Unfortunately, due to the storm, some of our family had to cancel their visits with us, but my sister and her dog stayed here for 2 weeks. The only downside to the cabin is the bumpy gravel uphill road…but I loved being near the top of the mountain! If you’re looking for a great place for a family vacation, this is it!

We were not ready to leave this peaceful, well appointed retreat. The beds were comfy, it's beautifully decorated, and the kitchen has all you would ever need. But our favorite place was the front porch.(particularly, the swing) You can tell lots of love and thought went into this place. There were even welcome gifts of RC Cola and moon pies....and even doggie treats for our fur baby. Charleys Cabin became our home away from home and we can hardly wait to be able to come back again! As a side note, do be prepared for the drive way. When they say steep they mean it! Thank you Angela for allowing us to claim Charleys Cabin, if even for a short time, as our home away from home. May God Bless.

This was a beautiful cabin and the surrounding land was sucluded and very peaceful. Angie was such a nice lady and very easy to deal with anytime i had a question. She was very quick in responding to messages and a pleasure to communicate with. I will definately look for availability on our next trip to Maggie Valley area. Charleys Cabin was very affordable and the house was stocked with everything needed to have a relaxing stay.
