Great house, excellent decor and themed rooms...

Great size, comfy beds, pillows and sheets smelled fresh and were good quality - high end - that is super important. Towels were also decent. Great location, great resort amenities. Some improvements needed. 1. All but one pan (and many of the pots) in the kitchen were so scratched (teflon - poisonous when scratched), we had to buy a pan to cook eggs. 2. Could use a kettle and a few more options for utensils 3. Carpet had many stains - could use a thorough steam clean. 4. Patio had cigarette ash, balls of hair, and an empty booze bottle, in addition to lots of grease stains on the stones and rusted metal pieces from a BBQ. 5. Overall things were broken - back patio door did not lock. Both screen doors to lanai locks were broken, panels from the blinds in living room were missing and more fell off during stay, patio loungers were definitely well used and not comfortable, wall paper coming off the walls, light in master bath hanging from ceiling instead of being flush. 6. Water never got more than luke warm. 7. When I called Nova Property Management they told me I had to document everything and write it in an email. Frankly these things should be done before I have to tell them what the problem is. I don't have to spend my vacation time telling them what they should check for as standard quality control. We still had a good time because the house was in a good location and the beds and the facilities were decent. I would rent again.
