Maison Kanoosha is a truly beautiful small-scale hotel just a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. From the moment you arrive, you notice how much attention has been paid to every detail. Everything is beautifully designed and carefully thought through, without losing the intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The garden is absolutely wonderful. It is peaceful, green and beautifully maintained, and the perfect place to relax after spending time in busy Marrakech. You really feel as though you are in a completely different world, while the city is still only a short drive away. A very special compliment must go to the staff. They are simply fantastic. The service is warm, personal and genuine, and somehow they manage to make you feel as if you are the only guest staying at the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble, yet the service never feels intrusive. And then there is breakfast. Having breakfast in the garden is an experience in itself. Beautifully presented, fresh, generous and prepared with great care. We travelled around Morocco and this was without doubt the best breakfast we had anywhere in the country. Maison Kanoosha is one of those places where everything comes together: a beautiful setting, attention to detail, peace and quiet, and exceptional hospitality. A perfect escape from the energy of Marrakech, and a place we would definitely return to

A calm, relax, very beautiful place with a big awesome garden, pool and facilities. Very friendly staff, very good LOCAL kitchen with LOCAL wines (I recommend a beef Tajin made by the hotel cook = awesome = my compliments). Big comfortable rooms, roomy entrance hall, ... we have been amazed. Was a very good decision to stay in this place.

Its 15-20 min by taxi to the city center / city medina = HOWEVER, we have found it as an advantage! The calm relax green place is much more important than the noisy overcrowded streets over the street.

Maison Kenoosha was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality we received from the entire team was exceptional. Everyone was so warm, attentive and welcoming, and the level of care and attention to detail made this feel like a true five-star experience. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and feels like a peaceful retreat. Being a small boutique hotel, there is such a wonderful sense of peace and tranquillity throughout. The gardens and pool are stunning, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. It’s the perfect place to completely switch off and relax. We also had some amazing treatments in the spa, and every meal was delicious. We really couldn’t recommend Maison Kenoosha enough. It is a truly magical place, made even more special by the wonderful people who work there. We were so well looked after throughout our stay and would return in a heartbeat. We really hope to visit again someday!

Very nice rooms and garden, also spa

The place is beautifully designed, but it feels rather cold and impersonal – we did not feel truly welcome. From the very first WhatsApp contact, the communication focused more on selling extra services than on our needs. In addition, after the reservation it sometimes took one to two days to receive a reply. Upon arrival, the main focus was on immediate payment, without a proper welcome or introduction to the property. On New Year’s Eve, no dinner other than the special set menu was offered. We declined it and asked for a regular dinner, which was not possible. Only then did the staff help us order food from a nearby restaurant for delivery, which we intended to eat in the common areas while ordering drinks on site. However, we were later told by a person acting as manager or owner (who never introduced themselves) that consuming outside food in the common areas was not allowed. This felt inconsistent. Overall, we had the impression that more emphasis is placed on selling extra services than on hospitality, which is typically a key part of local Berber culture. The hotel has only six apartments. We had two of them reserved, and it seemed that only one or two other rooms were occupied. We therefore spent most of the time almost alone on the property and frequently encountered the owner or manager. It felt rather strange that there was no interest in even basic conversation or a more personal approach. At one point, communication was not direct at all – instead, notes were left for us, even though this person was physically very close, which felt quite unusual. We also expected that a hotel of this type would be able to offer at least basic transfers or transportation as part of its service, which unfortunately was not the case and was disappointing. The access road currently does not exist – the surrounding area is still under construction and access is very difficult.
