In the beautiful surroundings of the Jensen Vacation Farm, many hiking and biking trails invite you to take extended tours. The neighboring municipality of Gelting provides a brief overview of this network of hiking trails. The “Rabe” biking and hiking trail passes right by the Jensen Vacation Farm. Many of the bike trails in Angeln are named after animals and form a network of 15 bike and hiking trails with a total length of approximately 93 km, all dotted with numerous points of interest. Likewise, many destinations in Schleswig-Holstein invite you to explore them in more detail. Most of the attractions worth seeing are ideal for day trips. For example, there’s Hansapark Sierksdorf, the Donkey Park in Nessendorf, the open-air museum in Molfsee, the zoo in Gettorf, or the zoo in Neumünster—these are just a few of the wonderful places to visit. For early risers, the fish market in Kappeln or Eckernförde is something special—a maritime atmosphere, market criers, and a bit of a flea market vibe. On our farm, there are many animals (ponies, chickens, a dog, and a cat), we host communal barbecue evenings, and we hold our popular annual “Bayernfest.”

The vacation rental is fully equipped. It features a satellite TV and a telephone. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, a kettle, a coffee maker, a toaster, a microwave, and dishes. The apartment has two bedrooms. One room has a double bed; the second is furnished with a bunk bed. A shower/toilet, bed linens, and towels are provided. You’ll feel right at home here.
