High up in the Wikingturm – Exclusive vacation apartment with panoramic views – Enjoy the view of the Schlei, Möweninsel, and the cathedral from the large picture window. The apartment features a double bed, a small kitchenette, and a private bathroom.
The octagonal Wikingturm is a high-rise residential building in Schleswig. It is approximately 90 meters tall and has 27 floors. It is located near a marina on the Schlei in a cul-de-sac, about 500 m from Gottorf Castle. It is within walking distance from a public parking lot via a long bridge. About 200 m from the parking lot is an underground garage with a free parking space for the apartment. Along the footpath to the tower is a small, well-maintained public garden. In the immediate vicinity of the tower, there is a Chinese/Mongolian restaurant. About 500 meters further on, there is a Greek restaurant.
When entering the tower, after opening the front door with an exterior button, you’ll need a room key to open the second door—leading to the elevators. In the elevator, you’ll need the key a second time (insert it and then turn it to the right to select the desired floor).
Apartment 4 on the 16th floor is a combined living/sleeping unit (double bed 1.80 x 2.00 m) with a separate bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) and truly lives up to its nickname “Bellevue” when you look out from the wide window front across the Schlei toward the city of Schleswig. You can also see Möweninsel floating in the water, as well as the small stretch of beach at “Louisenbad,” the “Königswiesen,” and the cathedral. The apartment features a small kitchenette (two stovetop burners) with a microwave, a refrigerator, a kettle, and a toaster. There is also a TV in the apartment.
Towels, bed linens, and final cleaning are included in the price.
Pets are not allowed.
