We have stayed at several bed and breakfast locations over the years but I have to say, Sheila's guest house in a quiet upscale suburban area of Shreveport is the nicest experience we've ever had. Arriving after a long trip in June, the house was cool, calm, clean, and beautifully decorated. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, the nice linens, the variety of products to try out, the thoughtful small touches... and most of all, the mornings we could sit outside in the lovely shady back patio, enjoying the collection of tropical plants and the well maintained yard and pool. My favorite as a bird watcher, we saw hummingbirds and egrets enjoying their mornings too. And the anole in the flower bed made me happy. Sheila was a fine host, always responsive to my questions. One point I would like to share... the guest house has a dedicated garage which keeps your car out of the Louisiana heat. Thanks so much for the exceptional stay, Sheila! I would be happy to stay again if we return to the area.

My favorite place to stay when I come to Shreveport!

She had everything you could need if you forgot something small. Very nice, very responsive, just a home a away from home type vibe.

I had a wonderful time, was in Louisiana to visit my son and his family. The house was prefect for me are a couple. Very nice place and nice neighborhood! If you are alone like I was the owners are right there so you feel very comfortable and safe. The host answered my messages very quickly and were there if I needed them but they never bothered me!I will definitely stay there again when I come to see my son again!!!
