The house was older but clean and had everything we needed. The fireplace inside and the fire pit, along with the sound of the river below were the features we enjoyed the most. I would stay here again. It took an hour to get into Yosemite Valley but that was not a problem.

The rushing river outside was the perfect background music to a wonderful stay! Tucked away down a long driveway this home felt isolated and serene, set right up against a dramatic view of the river. The living room had plenty of space for family gameplay. There was lots of room to spread out throughout the home. Everything is rustic, in keeping with the general vibe of Yosemite, and stocked with what we needed for a week stay. I loved that there was a heater built into the upstairs bathroom. It made showering the kids much more cozy. Hosts were kind and communicative. I had to leave the cabin to get cell service to text them, but that is pretty standard across Wawona, just be prepared. Grocery and gas are very accessible. Nearby trails too without having to drive. A perfect location for a memorable stay in Yosemite.

They have everything we need for our stay. Kitchenette. Extra blankets, woods. Best feature is the sound of the river below. Highly recommend

We loved loved loved this place! It’s so beautiful, so peaceful. The lower deck looks out over a little stream and beautiful trees. There is a neighbor to the right, but no one to the left, so it feels pretty private. The hosts were great about checking in with us several times to make sure everything was ok, and very responsive when we had questions. Another review described it as a “bucket list “ kind of place, and we agree!
