Tandem House is a cozy, charming, and clean home. It’s located across the street from an art center, but very quiet. The home is well- appointed with almost everything needed. It was a nice surprise to find a bottle of Chardonnay waiting for us. No Keurig, so we bought ground coffee and filters for the coffee maker. We appreciated the various sizes of plastic containers to store food in to take for picnicking. My only recommendation would be to have more than one dish towel to dry items with. There are children’s books and games available. The floors are a little creaky, which might wake up light sleepers, but wasn’t an issue for us. Tandem House was a comfortable stay, and we would definitely stay here again!

Host was very helpful and attentive. House was well kept for old home. Worked fine for our group of 5. Would recommend to others

This was an excellent place to stay for our week in Portland. The host and house were fantastic. There were toys for our 2 year old to play with. Though we weren’t traveling with dogs this time, it was definitely a fully dog friendly house. Close enough to all we wanted to do in Portland (max 30 min to places for us in the city) and not too long of a drive for day outings to Hood River and Mt. Hood.

Lovely old house. Great parking and a quiet neighborhood, Easy to access many local attractions and great restaurants. The host was excellent and quickly addressed a small issue with the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.
