This single-storey property consists of an open-plan living space with a kitchen area with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, a breakfast bar for four and a sitting area with Smart TV and woodburning stove. There is also a utility room with a washing machine and dishwasher. The bedrooms consist of two double bedrooms, along with a shower room. Outside, there is rear and front decking with furniture and roadside parking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Two small pets welcome; however, smoking is not permitted. Within 1.1 miles there is a shop and within 1.7 miles, a pub. Gun Power Cottage is a delightful stay in the countryside of Argyll. The plumbing was a bit dubious in the bathroom particularly with the shower- but it did not spoil our enjoyment

Always a peaceful and comfortable stay at Gunpowder. It’s very quiet. Loads of things to do locally. The fireplace is very cosy. The place has everything you need. If you sit on the porch at dusk you can hear tawny owls calling.

Gun Powder Cottage was so wonderfully cozy and welcoming! New radiators and a great fireplace were all big bonuses. We had wonderful contact with the property and it was incredibly clean. We had everything we needed to cook and a great selection of books for all ages and games. There were a few details around the property that needed fixing or maintenance but nothing that would affect us staying again. Even though most things were shutting down for the season, this was a great base for exploring and easy to heat up after a day out. Loved that there was a dishwasher and washing machine (though we didnt stay long enough to do any laundry). We would happilly return or I would even come back on my own it was so peaceful.

We had everything we needed and the property could be described as ‘quaint’The area has plenty to occupy you and we did a lot of walking. We would return altho the property might get sold.
