Citybox Helsinki

If you are not familiar with the Citybox hotel chain, like I wasn't, you will be surprised by their extremely lean structure and staff. Having said that, I don't think their obsession with efficiency caused any problems with our stay. Checking in and out is extremely fast and easy, the communal kitchen is convenient and clean, the few staff members we came across were very friendly and helpful, and the premises were brand new. Rooms were initially clean and functional (although not cleaned again for any of the other 5 nights we spent there). The lack of a TV in our room wasn't particularly a big deal, but including separate hygiene products for hair and body, as well as a hair conditioner, would have been great. The particular location was not the best for visiting the city, but there were a good number of restaurants and shops around.

Amazing property! Highly recommend. Very comfortable, clean, easy check in/out, kind workers

Clean and modern

The place is nice, well located. There is no reception and it’s a self service. Room is clean with sufficient equipment. There is no way to fix the AC and mine was stuck at 19 degrés which made the room a bit cold. Other than that, it’s a good location, good beds, and clean environment.
