The location was absolutely fantastic! Situated in the old town, the accommodation was within walking distance of all the main sights, restaurants, and the Golden Gate, where we met our walking tour guide. Check-in was smooth and easy. Although the building is old and there are a few stairs to climb, the room was quiet thanks to the soundproof windows and good air conditioning. We travelled by car and found parking nearby, although it is worth checking the parking signs carefully. Split is a lively and impressive city, and this accommodation was the perfect base for exploring it. Highly recommended!

The property was fantastic, central, comfy, and clean. The owner was the highlight, after a long days travelling my first time alone he was so friendly and helpful. He even acknowledged the fact I was a solo traveller and made sure to give me his best room in the complex. Highly recommended, would return.

The location of the apartment was great, just on the edge of the walled town. It was 2 minutes walk from a taxi drop off point which was helpful when travelling with luggage. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The decor was smart and worked well with the old building in which the rooms were located. The character of the building and the rooms exceeded our expectations. Matka communicated with us effectively throughout our short stay. Matka also arrived early enabling us to leave our luggage securely so we could head out and enjoy our day in Split.
