Lovely quirky property. Very comfortable bed, although we both cracked our head on the sloping ceiling while negotiating the bathroom! Very well equipped living area. We didn’t use the garden (too busy sightseeing!) but it looked fabulous.

SO many notices! SO many instructions, some of them contradictory! Several notices saying to leave the key card in the room when leaving, but my exit email asked me to leave the card in the key safe! The instruction booklet asked us the take all trash to the bins on leaving - we searched the property and could find no bins or any staff to ask! Very frustrating ! We ended up leaving it in the room! Lots of negative notices about the cost of replacing items in the room - from the duvet to the tea towel and everything in between! So many notices! I got tired or reading them all! I felt like we were expected to be bad guests!

Cool building decorated in vintage style. Nice large outside garden with plenty of separate areas for an uncrowded feel for drinking and dining. The shared kitchen with complementary coffee is a big plus. Only about 100M from Largo do Intendente square with 5 nice restaurants! Lidl grocery a block away. Convenient without the crowds or higher prices elsewhere in Lisbon

The location was good, within walking distance of city center. The room was clean and the staff , even if you don’t see anyone, but they are responsive if you contact them. The room is pretty

Floor very noisy, it’s not fault of the building being old but of a low cost renovation. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, and the room was too hot. The aircon only works in summer and the temperature is controlled for the entire building. If we switched on the radiator , the air was hot. When we contacted the property, they provided a fan, but that wasn’t ideal. We didn’t sleep well due to the mattress , noise and heat. There isn’t a place to leave your luggage , so this is something to consider as well. You’ll need to pay for a locker or another place in case you need it
