We have just returned from 2 fabulous weeks staying at Carambola.Patty could not have been more helpful, ensuring all arrangements were in place and offering a wide range of recommendations including local taxi drivers, places to visit, great food and cocktail outlets etc.The villa felt like home the minute we arrived, with all the amenities you might want or need, lots of space, excellent air conditioning, very comfy bed, useful laundry room, frequent pool and villa cleaning and daily monkey visits which were hugely entertaining! The grounds are spacious and contain some lovely trees and bushes which provide complete privacy and shield from the road. The gate, at the bottom of the garden, offers a perfect shortcut to the road, with Oualie directly opposite (our favourite beach on the island) and On The Rocks/L’escale just a few minutes walk away.Great villa, great location and a great host.We will definitely be back soon!
