Beautiful quaint country pub .
Comfortable room .
Loved the pub .. food was good , little bit pricey than we usually pay .
Ok I was staying above a pub .. but on leaving bar at 9pm onwards .. all well respected people eating dinner and finishing off .. unfortunately the Saturday night someone decided to be obnoxious and loud with cheering going on after 11 pm and a booming voice .. ruined our stay as we didn’t get much sleep then my partner couldn’t do his half marathon the next day due to lack of sleep .

An ideal country pub with food that far outmatched expectations. Wonderful breakfast cooked to order which you handed in the day prior. Lovely village with great dog exercise area about 50 yds away. Even provided poo bags if you had forgotten. A real gem. Mark and Sue are ideal hosts
nothing. Parking is limited but plenty on road parking. If you don't like exploring country lanes then this is not the place for you but great beaches very close and well worth the effort

Lovely hotel in a quiet village. Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Dog friendly rooms available at a supplement. Didn't have breakfast but food in the evening was very good.
Exit door for guests had inadvertently been locked without the key left in the door, which we were told would be the case.

Nice bar area, nice food, rooms nice.
Our bathroom had the most disgusting smell, so much so we had to use my mums bathroom just down the hall (luckily she was staying too). The smell obviously seeped into the bedroom area making it very unpleasant to be in, thankfully we were only there for one night! When the manager was informed, he was extremely none caring and none apologetic.

"Hidden gem, just outside Ilfracombe. We had our small dog, so this was ideal. Great host (Sue). Pub meals were excellent!"
