De bedden waren niet heel comfortabel

The AirBnB was spotless when we arrived, very modern and the bedrooms were comfy. The views from the kitchen/lounge area which overlooked Salisbury crags in the Holyrood Park area was stunning and there is a small balcony to sit outside, albeit you need to climb through the window to access it, which may be an issue for a big heavy person. The shower room was impressive; and hot water was readily available and easy to adjust. Bath and hand towels were provided with some shower gel and soap. We dined out by the royal mile mostly but had breakfast and snacks at the flat. The location is a short walk to Meadowbank Park Shopping area,. There is a large Lidl and Sainsburys nearby which is convenient. Beyond this lies Easter Road Stadium a bit further up, home to Hibernian Football Club (for interested sports fans). Buses are reliable and all venture into the centre (10-15mins) from along the London Road which is a short walk away from the flat. The surrounding area of the flat was remarkably quiet.

There was an issue with the front door key which was a bit stiff - this may be a new key which needs a bit of lube to lock and unlock more smoothly. Other than that, we had no issues at all.

Location

The view and location was outstanding. The view of King Arthur's Seat was amazing and Holyrood Park is beautiful and just across the road. This helped to make up for the horror below. Plenty of towels supplied along with toiletries and basic kitchen staples. Fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable lounge.

The moths! The hallway, bathroom and one bedroom was infested with clothes moths. They were all over the walls and ceiling and there were signs they'd been a problem for a while (such as squashed ones on the wall). We contacted the host who said they'd send someone in. No-one came - even to maybe vacuum them up would have helped short term. When we said no-one came we were told the cleaner had let them down and hope it didn't ruin our break too much! Well... we had to keep our clothes packed the whole time then spray them with bug killer when we got home to avoid risk of bringing them back. I know for a fact another guest was booked in the day we left so just hope they sorted it for them! While we're on it, a previous review complained about the mess on the balcony- about a year ago - and it looked exactly the same!
