Really enjoyed our stay. House was very clean, and was minutes from the beach. Host was very responsive to messages. I thought price was quite reasonable. Mosquitoes were not nearly as bad as I had heard they would be.

The open layout of the house was a perfect match for our group. Since we had zero issues while we were at the house, my only interactions with the host were before and after. The host was always prompt and friendly, answering any questions I had. The house has all the cookware, kitchen equipment and tableware you could need. It was so much better furnished with all the necessities than almost anywhere else we've stayed.We've been going to Matagorda Beach for many years now and rented at least half a dozen of the houses and condos down there. We all agreed this one is at the top of our list for our next trip.

There was so much standing water when we arrived that we could not see the driveway to get to it. The owner offered us another place, smaller and less desirable but a place for us to stay. We moved into the place I rented the next day. The mosquitoes were vicious because of all of the rain but the house was great, with a porch we enjoyed a lot. The beach was great, too.
