Commercial Inn

Not a long time spent in the room but had a comfy sleep. Arrived at 11.30PM and left for work at 7AM. Bed was comfy and shower was powerful.

No phone signal in the room. Think its due to the thick stone walls which makes a nice feature in the room.

All the staff were really friendly, helpful, and welcoming. A great value stay for our visit to the Eden Project.

Not an issue if I wasn’t doing a bike race following morning, band played directly below room . However on a normal stay that would not of been an issue. Good band as well.

As a short, one night stay (after visiting the Eden Project, before moving onto Perranporth) it did the job. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was just outside the main pub, so felt separate and was a really good size. Although our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived, the manager quickly sorted it and compensated us with some drinks and snacks, whilst we waited. The food was decent pub food and the pub locals were chatty and friendly. Although parking is a bit of an issue, as locals use the spaces as well, with a little bit of hopping around, we managed to park nearby. As it was a Sat into a Sun breakfast wasn't offered due to prep for Sunday lunch. However, the manager did say should we need it he could organise something. Which although we didn't, thought was a kind gesture.

The room itself just needed more of a thorough general clean. Although the building is very old and the internal room was nicely decorated, we felt that the cobwebs/spiders in the corners of the ceilings and behind the head board of the bed wouldn't have been there if the room had been cleaned from top to bottom and not just surface areas.
