The house and cottage are large and comfortable with lots of living areas. The garden is exceptional - very well kept, lots of places to sit and beautiful review. The cottage is perfect with high quality fit out throughout, everything you could need and very good heating (looks like only fans in summer though).
The kitchen in the main house lacks the same refinement - mismatched wine glasses, some bakeware wasn’t clean (some nylon scourers would have helped). The heater in the kitchen really struggled (might need a service). We didn’t realise we needed to bring our own wood (there was a small amount of wood on site but it didn’t burn well) - which turned out to be inconvenient and added more to the cost.
