Location is very good for the Barbican. It was a fun experience and the goodie bag was a nice touch.
Despite the individual pods it still gave the feel of a hostel.

This was my third stay with Cosmos.
It’s a novel experience, but ultimately, it does everything it needs to for a short stay.
The pods are clean and comfortable, I always get a good nights sleep. And for a fraction of the cost of a typical hotel in central London.
My go to for an event in London.
My pod was a little warm this time, despite the air con. I’ve previously stayed in the middle of summer and haven’t had this problem, so not sure if the aircon was playing up this time.

Clear instructions on how to check-in, free amenities (toothbrush and toothpaste, slippers, ear plugs) and coffee / tea provided. Everything was pristine clean, from the bathrooms to the kitchen, including the capsule.
The door of the capsule doesn't totally filter the light from the room outside, so it wasn't completely dark in there. Maybe something could be done about that, but honestly it's not that big of a deal.

The capsule concept is interesting, gives you some more privacy than you would have in a dorm in a hostel
I had a bottom capsule and could hear every movement of the person in the top capsule. Sometimes it almost felt like the person was in the capsule with me. It woke me up a few times in the night. Also: only one shower and 2 toilets for 12 people. The towels all looked the same, so I didn't want to hang it in the bathroom together with all the others and I had to take it in the capsule with me, so it didn't really get dry
