Everything was good Needed wood for braaing but we managed

The location in Vermont was perfect, very peaceful and great for running. It was great having a large outside space with a view of the sea. Shelby (the hostess’s dog) came and sat with us for a while every day 🙂The Old Harbour was only a 15 minute drive away which we drove to every day to see the migrating whales and walk along the cliff paths.

We had such a wonderful stay in Hermanus! The facilities were absolutely gorgeous, and the room was beautiful, cosy, and incredibly comfortable. One of our favourite features was the balcony overlooking the ocean, the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and take in the beautiful views. The hosts were truly amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We had mentioned that we were visiting for a celebration, and they surprised us with champagne, which was such a thoughtful touch. They were also fantastic at keeping us updated on where whales were being spotted, even after we had already checked out! They were incredibly accommodating and even allowed us to have a potjie and invite some family over for a few hours, which made our stay feel even more special and personal. Their warmth and hospitality really made us feel at home. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and a special mention has to go to Shelby the dog, who was definitely part of the charm! 🐾❤️ We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait for our next trip to Hermanus. We will definitely be staying here again!
