Great communication from the host, anything we needed we just had to ask. Good clear instructions for accessing the property. Lovely touch of some fresh eggs from their chickens, which we had for breakfast. Lovely property with a beautiful enclosed garden with seating and tree swing. Beds very comfy, it was meticulously clean. We will definitely stay again.
Could maybe use a couple more pans, cooking utensils and a jug? The basics were there with a good selection of crockery and glasses. Certainly didn’t deter from a wonderful stay

The location was excellent for our needs during a five-day stay: within easy walking distance of the town centre and shops, but also close to parkland the attractive river-side walks. The accommodation was spacious, well-arranged and enjoyable to stay in.

Very pleasant patio , attractive garden. The open-plan living area was well equipped and laid out.
The stairs were very difficult to negotiate for an older couple, being narrow and twisting. Getting our luggage up to our bedrooms was a nightmare. Why does the handrail end halfway up leaving no means of support to the top? We considered this to be very dangerous and a serious health and safety issue !!
The inner front door was very stiff and heavy while trying to negotiate luggage.
