Welcome home for your stay in this eighteenth-century stone house, freshly renovated (end of work February 2024).
We have carefully arranged this 110m2 space to comfortably accommodate you up to 4 or 6 people, preserving the old and typical elements associated with today's modernism.
Located in a peaceful village between Bayeux (10 minutes) and Caen (15 minutes) this house will be the starting point to visit these 2 historic cities, the D-Day Landing Beaches (30 minutes) and the surrounding countryside.
We have put all our heart into concocting this cozy nest to make you feel at home, paying particular attention to comfort and decoration. The house has one floor served by a stone staircase, where the 2 bedrooms, the living room and 1 of the 2 shower rooms are located.
On the first floor, you will find the kitchen and the other shower room.
In order to project yourself further, here are some pieces of information:
- The living room (27m2) is equipped with comfortable velvet sofas, 1 of which is a new (2024) hotel-quality sofa bed (140x190cm), a flat screen TV, and a Bluetooth speaker "La Boite à concept" - view of the meadow.
- The 2 bedrooms (18m2 and 10m2) are each equipped with a new (2024) Queen Size bed (160x200cm) and hotel brand. The beds can be adapted to twin (2x80x200cm) on request. Each room has a flat screen TV. We provide you with all the bed linen and the beds are made on arrival. Garden view.
- The 2 shower rooms (6m2 and 4m2) have 1 and 2 sinks, walk-in showers, toilets, heated towel rails, hairdryers, hand washing gel products, shower gel products, and What Matters shampoos (organic, vegan products made in France). We provide you with towels and carpets.
- The kitchen (26m2) benefits from a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave oven, Nespresso coffee and coffee maker, kettle, toaster, flat screen TV and a working fireplace.
We provide you with table linen and dish towels.

- To relax and take your meals outside, this house is open to a private and closed courtyard of 30m2, equipped for your well-being (1 table, 3 benches, 2 deck chairs, mattresses and cushions).

What an absolutely beautiful home - its so full of history and yet its clearly been lovingly and tastefully restored and decorated. Everything and more that you need is provided and the owner, Valerie is fantastic! She shares amazing information on the area, restaurants and answers your questions extremely promptly. Would highly recommend!!

This is one of my favorite rental properties. Incredibly clean and well designed. Every detail was thought through. We had everything we needed! Plus the welcome gifts were kind and appreciated. The beds were very comfortable. The showers were really fantastic. I loved the outdoor space and the calm of the small town. The owner left plenty of travel guides, local info and recommendations. She is one of the nicest owners i have ever met. She was so kind and thoughtful and helped us out. She was really amazing. If I get to Normandy again this is where I am staying. Highly recommend.

Ideal in so many ways...beautiful, charming, well -equipped, and relaxing in a lovely village! The hosts are very welcoming and provide excellent recommendations for the area! We treasured our stay and highly recommend this fabulous home.

Valerie was a wonderful host who was very accommodating to our later than expected arrival time.
The property is impeccably furnished and incredibly clean. The small courtyard (the backs onto a quiet road) is perfect for a bbq or enjoying the evening sunset.
Thw location is convenient. We visited Bayeux, the D Day beaches and did a day trip to Mont St Michel in our short stay.
I would stay here again if I needed accommodation in this area.
Highly recommended!
