great appartment, nice and clean (in fact better than on the pictures), well equipped, location outside city centre but very close to metro, shops and restaurants nearby, good communication with the owner
double bed was noisy, I reported the issue and the owner promised to fix it

Our host Tarek was very accommodating in terms of arrival time (the agreed upon arrival time was outside of regular hours, however we were further delayed by the train). Tarek was very good about meeting up with us even though it was getting late in the evening). In addition, he was very responsive to resolving a couple of minor issues in the apartment during our stay. The place was spacious, clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. There were a number of grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, bakeries etc within a block or two.
There were significant construction activity in the property adjacent to the building. We did not end up utilizing the balcony due to construction noise however it also needed attention (a face lift - rusty and dirty railing, badly weathered patio furniture, dead plants in planter).
