Wonderful stay

This place has it ALL!! The pictures truly do not do it justice. I traveled with my s/o, toddler, mom, brother, SIL, and two small children and there was more than enough room to all split in the night or in the early morning when the baby woke up earlier than everyone else. It was magical with the deer coming right up to the backyard, the glittery view of the sun over the lake in the early morning, the easy access to the beach (with super friendly locals and staff), and just overall magical vibe of the house. Something that was soooo absolutely important to me was the bed. A lot of places, in my experience, that are visual to the eye tend to cheap out on the beds and bedding. These beds were the most comfortable ones I have stayed in….EVER!!!!! Absolutely unmatched. The hot tub and super fun basement were such a plus. My family and I left today feeling so rejuvenated and reconnected and for that, I said thank you to the house as I walked out for the final time. This was the best weekend ever. If I had to note one complaint however, especially with traveling with a family - the living room table has a glass top that is not attached to its base. My little one leaned on it, it fell off (luckily my brother caught it) and the driftwood piece on top cut my sons nose. It wasn’t detrimental but we were a little shook up over what could have been & steered clear the rest of our visit. Otherwise, zero notes. Chefs kiss.

Overall it was nice. The beds were horrible, no give and hard. The lake was closed to swim for days due to bacteria. The doorknob was broken and we couldn't get the downstairs door to lock and open with the combination. So I don't know if I would recommend this house for people looking for a lot to do.
