Blue Crab Bay is a luxurious second row, fully detached home located conveniently between Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. This location offers guests quick access to the Boardwalk and all of the fun that Carolina Beach offers, including shops, ice cream, arcade and Thursday night fireworks in the summer. For those who enjoy a quieter beach trip, the calm serenity of Kure Beach is is available just to the south, where you can walk the Kure Beach Pier, visit Fort Fisher for a breathtaking sunset or enjoy the aquarium.
Our home comfortably hosts 14 people featuring 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a large open living space on the top floor and 4 decks - providing the perfect space for friends and family to gather or to find a quiet space for relaxation. We are a 1 minute walk to the sand with the Alabama Ave beach access (a favorite of local surfers!) directly across the street.
On the top (third) floor, the home features an expansive open floor plan blending the kitchen, dining space, family room, large deck and powder room to create a perfect gathering space for friends and family.
The fully equipped gourmet kitchen features high end appliances, a gas cooktop, double oven, coffee maker and all the essentials. A large island with 4 bar stools offers a perfect social space, combined with the dining table featuring seating for 8 offers ample inside dining space.
The kitchen overlooks the serene coastal family room featuring a sectional sofa, large flat screen Roku TV, stylish gas fireplace and wet bar with wine and beverage refrigerator. The glass sliding doors push open to reveal a large deck where you can soak in the ocean views, listen to the waves and enjoy your coffee or cocktails from the colorful high top dining table or cozy lounge space. This is coastal living at its best!
The remainder of the top floor features a powder room, a bunk room with a full size bottom bed, twin size top bunk and twin size trundle bed. Across the hall is the first of four master suites in the home featuring a king size bed, private ensuite bathroom and ample closet space.
On the second floor, this home boasts three more stylish master suites each featuring a king size bed, private en suite, Roku TV, and calming coastal decor, perfect to retreat to after a day at the beach. The primary master suite contains a breathtaking, luxurious ensuite with double sinks, free standing bath tub, large glass shower and its own private deck facing the ocean. This is a true master retreat! The second floor is rounded out with a full size laundry room containing washer, dryer, iron and ironing board - perfect to accomodate multiple families on vacation.
The first floor of the home features a comfortable, fun lounge space with a queen size sleeper sofa, Roku TV, and full bathroom with shower. For your entertainment, you will find Golden Tee and PacMan arcade games, as well as a foosball table and an array of boardgames to enjoy.
The lounge space leads to the fully fenced in backyard where you can enjoy backyard games such as corn hole, giant Jenga or giant Connect Four while grilling out after a day of beach fun.
We've got your beach needs covered by providing beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, and beach wagon so that all you have to do is show up and enjoy a day at the beach! For our young guests, we provide a pack 'n play and sand toys.
Please Note:
Each reservation includes linens - bed sheets, blankets, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, make up towels, beach towels, dish towels. Additionally, laundry, bathroom, and kitchen "starter packs" are provided and each bathroom offers travel size shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion.
The home contains a small elevator reaching all three floors for those with accessibility concerns. Ample parking is available on the double driveway, where 6 cars can easily and safely park. Covered parking in the car port is available for two cars.
An EV charger available for use at the rate of $50/week, or $10 a day for stays less than 7 days long. EVIQO level 2 charger, 48 amp equipped with SAE J1772 connector. Adapter needed for Tesla.
We are happy to be a dog friendly property. Two dogs under 50 pounds each are permitted with a $200 pet fee.
Our six seater forward facing golf cart is available as an additional rental upon inquiry.

One of my favorite houses i have ever rented. The house was spotless!! Every thing was organized, not even scuffs on the walls! Decor and furniture we designer style. Loved the furniture on all the sitting decks so you could go read and relax but plenty of seating on the top deck for the entire 12 people in our group. Location: short walk to the beach access. plenty of parking and great location to people watch or take the pup for a walk. Our old lab was not a huge fan of the hardwood steps but having the baby gates helped keep him on one floor. Elevator was there but we only used for groceries and luggage as it was small. Would give this house 10 stars if possible, host was great!

The property is excellent. This is the best Host we've ever had. A couple small problems taken care of immediately. Would definitely stay again. It was a Family Vacation from 18 months to 75 years old.

This is a fabulous home with a great layout for large groups. The host is very responsive and helpful. The home is very clean and lovely. It is a short walk across the street to the beach and comes with all the necessities for a perfect week at the beach. Everyone in our group found this to be an exceptional property. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it without any reservations.

One of the nicest beach rentals we have ever stayed in. House decor and color palette is beautiful. Every room was perfectly clean and minimally but perfectly decorated. Kitchen is to die for - has everything. We had about 14 people over for dinner one night and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve food. Elevator was helpful to bring up all the drinks we bought (cases of water, etc) and they all went right into the drink fridge and area in the TV room which was awesome to have!! Beds are super comfy. Master bed and bath are incredible. the decks are HUGE and really fun to hang out on, we were ut there every night. This house is so much bigger once inside than it looks from the pictures or from the outside - very spacious. We had all adults so it was really nice to have 4 king size rooms with their own baths. Games and foosball on first floor really fun! They have everything you need for the beach - ten (more or less) new beach chairs, wagon, umbrella, we could have brought a lot less than we did bc the house had it all. We also rented the golf cart which was really fun. We took it to dinner and out shopping almost every day. Also nice to lug your stuff to the beach if you need to even tho beach is right across the street. Baby gates secured to the door frames on every floor (helped us with the dogs:). This house and trip was heaven! We were there for UNCW Graduation:) So many fun places to eat and drink as well. Angela is awesome to work with! TY!
