The cottage is really stunning and the decor is charming. I really enjoyed my time there and would come back anytime. Everything was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and big, the living room was very cosy and the kitchen was equipped with everything I needed and much more. The dressing room is a great extra. You can sit outside and listen to the birds. The countryside around the small village is beautiful. I made trips to Avebury, Salisbury, Wells and Glastonbury. These places are easily accessible by car or train.Penny is an excellent hostess, made me feel welcome and I would like to say a big thank you!

The cottage is perfect, the village is perfect and Peter and Penny are just wonderful, we stayed for just over two weeks and had a great time...and we will be going back at the first opportunity.

Super clean, great location, charming as it comes, Very nice owners. If we had one slightly negative comment I would say the kitchen is really only suitable for light meals and breakfast as its fairly small but as we typically eat out on vacation, or have cheese, bread & wine when staying in, it was not an issue. On that note, you MUST try the local pub for meals and friendly staff, and the local shop has about everything you will need. Close to may great attractions. Try renting a canal barge for a day. we did and had a fantastic time! Fabulous job Penny and many thanks! The Culpan family.

We just spent a week in Coachmans Cottage which is a perfect cottage in the beautiful village of Steeple Ashton. Penny and Peter are warm and wonderful hosts. The cottage felt like home right away. It is beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, and wonderfully functional. The local pub, The Longs Arms, is a short stroll from the cottage and was a great place for catching dinner when we were too tired to cook. We found Coachmans Cottage to be a great central point to visit Wells Cathedral, Bath, Glastonbury, and my favorite, Great Chalfield Manor. We highly recommend Coachmans Cottage - thank you Penny for everything!
