Speakeasy Suites

It’s right in the center of Broad Street with a really nice cafe downstairs that’s open at 7:00am every day and has fantastic homemade bacon breakfast burritos. The room is clean and beautiful. I had some difficulty at first getting into the building and into my room with the respective codes. The trick is to wait until the door entirely stops buzzing and only then push it open. The other thing that would be an improvement is to upgrade the sheets to 100% cotton. The existing sheets in my room were, I think, some kind of thin microfiber which slipped down and away from me both nights so that I ended up sleeping directly under the cotton duvet.

Our room faced the Main Street and while we were concerned about the noise (especially when we discovered the earplugs provided by the hotel), it wasn’t loud at all! The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and we didn’t have any issues finding parking. Our door code didn’t work when we arrived, but a quick call with the SUPER helpful manager got us both in the front door and into our room quickly. We LOVED having breakfast at the various places within the block and having a nightcap at the National Hotel bar (they had live music, too). We will TOTALLY stay here again!!!!

Everything outstanding the front door was heard to manage opening but the staff was very helpful - didn't see the thr coffee cups were for a free cup of coffee downstairs - so don't forget it's a great place highly recommend and the hallway looks Like you stepped into the set of The shining makes it extra special!

Staff was so incredibly helpful and accommodating. Never had any issues getting in contact with someone for questions regardless of this being a self check-in hotel. They were able to help me with with my room code when it didn’t work, early check in for a wedding we had that day, and suggestions on where to park overnight. Room 8 was perfect for 2 people and bed was very comfy. The location is great and there is a coffee shop with below the hotel which is a plus. Sad we actually only stayed one night but we’ll definitely be back!
