The 'Dairy' was very quaint and well appointed. It had everything we could want for the few nights we were there with our dog. The bath and shower room is particularly nice, the bed is comfortable and the kitchen living area has all we could want. Although the village is small and quite remote, the setting is wonderful for short walks and the local pub, very cordial.

Negotiating a few miles of 'Devon lanes' could be a draw back, but staying chilled and a short reverse every now and then sorts that.

We have been traveling for 4 weeks and have stayed in multiple properties, this one had the most comfy bed! Also this is the quietest place we have ever stayed, no sounds of vehicles, dustbin collections, Sea gulls - just pure silence which was so lovely. There are some lovely walks from the door step and a super pub just by the property - a perfect long weekend getaway for a single person or couple. Heather was also lovely and the cottage had everything we needed and more.

Unser kleines Cottage „the diary“ war wunderschön gemütlich und hatte alles, was wir benötigten. Wir konnten sogar die Wäsche waschen und sie im Garten aufhängen. Bei der Ankunft standen Blumen auf dem Tisch. Man hat sich gleich zu Hause gefühlt. Der Ort ist ruhig, aber im Pub ist immer was los und wir wurden gut aufgenommen dort. Heather war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

This property was absolutely magical. From the breathtaking walks right on the doorstep to the warm, welcoming hospitality of Heather, every part of my stay was exceptional. Heather made me feel so comfortable and genuinely cared that I had a wonderful experience. For me, this was more than just a getaway—it was a true retreat. It gave me the opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy the peace and beauty of the surroundings. I loved every single moment and left feeling refreshed and grateful. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, and I would return in a heartbeat!
