The location is great - walkable distance from the Old City, Wawel Castle and very close to Kaziemerz district. Room was clean, everything necessary was in the apartment. The bed was very comfortable. This place is quiet, there are no bars or tourists on the street. A railway line runs nearby, but the sound of trains didn't bother me.

There were some technical issues. The door lock was sticking at times, and it was difficult to get inside. The room was heavily overheated, but neither the radiator switch nor the thermostat was working. I had to call manager who sent a heating technician who, at my request, completelely turned off a heating, but the old oil radiator took almost a day to cool down. The lack of radiator with which you can quickly adjust the temperature is a huge problem. There was also an unpleasant smell from the sink when the water turned on. But was communication with the manager, and some issues were being fixed. A room where, instead of radiator, there is a fire-breathing dragon – 5A.

Location is OK, close enough to city center and some good Asian restaurants within walking distance, plus some museums (e.g. ethnographic & technic). Check-in was easy, using codes everywhere, no keys. Place was clean, bed comfortable, small kitchen with utensils available, also fridge & microwave oven, plus a tea selection.

Heating was not functioning properly, the heater seemed to have a mind of its own, didn't really respect the setting on the thermostat, or it did with a huge delay. E.g. I tried setting it to something very low, under 20 degrees Celsius and it was still blowing full heat - I tried reporting it to the hosts and I was told that it's normal, it takes time to cool down; I can understand that the radiator takes time to cool down, but why still blow air at the maximum? Also, at night the temperature went way beyond the 23-24 degrees I had set, probably around 30 since it got very hot inside, had to open the windows. In the end we stopped using the main heater, thankfully there was a small backup one in the room and we used only that one (the presence of the small heater makes me think that the problem was well known but during our communication they tried to blame me for not using the heater correctly, and no one came to check it). This happened in room 5A, the others might be fine.
