The host was really nice with us. He offered some moon cake for the mid autumn festival and brought us for free at the railroad station.
The wifi was not good enough for the homeschooling of the girl (less than 1MB/s). The breakfast was average and we preferred to get around. The place is a bit old and the room have vis-à-vis.

Everything. Very friendly helpful people. Room was as pictured. Very close to restaurants etc but still very quiet. Breakfast was excellent 👌. Stayed 4 nights , enjoyed our stay there .

A traditional Tibetan house in the historic center of Shangri-La. The hosts are charming and will help you in any way they can. The location is great because you're right in the center, but a little removed from all the shops and the hustle and bustle.

Unfortunately didn’t want to write this review but I do think it’s fair that potential guests know. We discovered bed bugs in our bedroom in this hotel, we have heard it is common in the ancient town especially when the building is older. I will say that the staff were very kind and gave us a full refund and helped us with what we needed, which we appreciate. I hope that their cleanliness standards will be raised because otherwise it would be a great property!
