Perfect and peaceful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our favorite place was the porch where we enjoyed the farm animals and the sunsets. The house was comfortable and well stocked and our dog settled in like it was home. We would also recommend stopping by Highlands Butchery for lunch and to browse the store. We hope to stay again next time we are in North Carolina.

This house was great! The owner was very communicative and welcoming. The house was well stocked. The porch was nice if it wasnt so cold i would have spent more time on the swing. It was close to the Hickory Convention Center. Quiet and relaxing home.

Great host and the property was gorgeous. Very relaxing

The Farmhouse is adorably country chic with old farmhouse charm and modern upgrades galore. It was the perfect peaceful getaway. The farm animals and their antics were added entertainment. The piglets chasing each other and playing were a delight. The antics of the hens, roosters, and guinea provided us with laughs. The host was around doing farm work and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We appreciate the Mercer's hospitality and will certainly stay again in the future.
