Tobervilla Guest House

Melissa was super sweet and friendly, welcoming us warmly from our first arrival. We got a room that was very pretty and well-appointed. It was impeccably clean and seemed like it had been recently remodeled. The colors and fabrics were calming and tasteful. I am pretty picky about hotel cleanliness, and this one met my standards. Melissa cooked made-to-order eggs and her assistant prepared made-to-order Americanos/lattes/etc. There were yummy croissants and soda bread and Irish breakfast stuff too: beans, rashers, mushrooms, and sausages. As we were on a weekend getaway without our kids, it was a real treat to be served so well. The hot tub was a real highlight. We ended up out there on our first evening when it was clear and could see SO MANY STARS. It was stunning. We could even see the Milky Way. We didn't realize this area of South Kerry is a Dark Sky Reserve. They also provided us with super soft white bath robes to wear to and from the outdoor hot tub. They thought of everything!

This is a very small point but the weather was getting colder outside the weekend we were there and I wished the hot tub water was a degree or two warmer. It didn't heat me up as much as I'd hoped, but we still really enjoyed it!

Great location, scenic surroundings, room was very spacious and clean . Hot tub in the garden a lovely treat. Breakfast was really delicious with great choice . Lovely sitting room area to relax in evening

The elegance of the home, the personal tour, rooms, beds, and location. All amazing! The breakfast was beyond expectations. We had two rooms to meet our party size and both were beautiful and large. If you are ever in this area, this is the place to stay!
