It was very convenient, private and well equipped

It was exceptional so no complaints. I wouldn’t have enjoyed parking though 😀

This place is the hidden Gem of Catania ! When i say 'hidden' it is literally :) As you come from the street, you enter into one internal yard which you have to pass through and unlock another door to enter in a second internal yard which is the common yard of the property and few other Airbnb's of the same type. Inside this second internal yard, each Airbnb has its own small veranda (where the outside table is), the veranda is enclosed and fenced from all sides so no one can see you. All this might sound inconvenient but believe me it is worth it !! The property entrance is via this veranda and internal yard, you have no window or anything facing a street, making it really quiet. You enter via a high woden/glass door and you are basically already inside the main room on the ground floor where the Sofa and TV unit is and it is amazing !! Very nice colors, small touches done with love and good taste. All new furniture, clean, has AC, nice smell. Fully equipped kitchen + extras as Luiza basically leaves you extra bin bags, sponges, kitchen towels, soap, sugar, tea, coffee, napkins etc...The bathroom is so cool, has a shower cubicle, bidet, more than enough towels, soap, shower gel, cotton buds and it is new and so clean ! You even have portable heater in case you feel cold while taking a shower. Then going back to the main room WOW, the high ceilings with this cool wooden stairs to go up to the attic bedroom which is overlooking the living room and with a small window on the ceiling where you can open and see the stars !! Comfy bed, all clean again, extra pillows, blankets, all you need ! Every city in the world need a 'Casina' ( as Luiza calls it) like this one ♥️ Highly recommended and Luiza is so responsive and such a nice person !This place and Etna is what made our stay in Catania worth.

See my review of what i liked about the place, before reading this one. :) Well it is Catania, soooo not so much to like from that city besides some ice cream and food places. Location is central, walking distance from fish market and bus terminal for the airport bus and other main attractions..... not one of the best neighborhoods, it is dirty on the streets as mostly everywhere in Cata, but all was ok, no issues with ppl or anything but we did not really wonder around late as i was with my 70 year old mother and my 5 year old girl.
