Avoid like the plague! Complete false advertisement!

Nothing. It was awful!

Upon arrival at this property me and my party were shocked at the state it was in. It is advertised as newly refurbished but it is far from that! In fact it is very much in need of refurbishment. There are dirty marks all over the walls, light switches and doors, chipped furniture, paint and skirting boards, as well as a broken door handle in one of the bedrooms. The kitchen was unclean, the bin was broken and there was something spilt and left in the freezer. There were not enough bowls, plates etc for the number of guests advertised, only 2 bowls, one of which had a big chip in it so couldn't be used. The bathrooms were filthy, mouldy, no soap or hand towels provided and in one of the bathrooms, a pair of soiled boxers were left on the radiator. The beds and bedding were filthy , there were hairs, dirt and stains all over them. We really didn't want to stay here, but we were going to a wedding that afternoon and were running late so had no time to find an alternative. I messaged the owner on arrival to express my dissatisfaction, although at this point, I hadn't yet discovered all the issues mentioned above and he asked me to send pictures so that he could advise his cleaners for future stays. there was no offer to resolve any of our issues and looking back at more recent reviews it looks as though he was already aware of these issues and still hasn't done anything. I would avoid this property like the plague because it is disgusting! It would probably be nice if it was actually refurbished as stated but this is complete false advertisement!

Avoid at all cost

Nothing

The photographs did not look anything like what we walked into. I have used booking.com for years and never had to complain. The house was dirty, the beds were disgusting. The whole house was misrepresented. Do not book here.

Brilliant stay, thank you for a great experience!!

Clean and spacious home with everything you need, the kitchen was fully equipped

Clear, detailed check-in instructions, and Mugo was very responsive when needed.

OK for a night.

The house was well equipped. Bedrooms were mainly spacious, and beds were comfortable. Damage deposit was repaid on the same day as departure.

Had to clean oven before use. Dust and cobwebs in places. Shower is stained as is grouting with some mould. No mirrors in bedrooms and in one bathroom. Considering it has 5 double bedrooms, there is only sofa seating for 5 and a dining table seating 6.
