Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Check in/out was easy and convenient. The location was great, the community was quiet and well-maintained, and the pools were very nice. The house was the perfect size for our group of seven. We appreciated the beach equipment in the garage and used the two beach chairs and boogie boards every time we went to the beach.When we arrived, we noticed the upstairs toilet ran for a long time after flushing. We called the next morning, and maintenance promptly fixed it while we were out, which we appreciated.There were, however, several issues that impacted our stay. The house had a very strong musty, mold-like odor that improved slightly over time but never completely went away. I think the house should be treated by pest control- We regularly found spiders of various sizes throughout the house during our stay, and several members of our group left with multiple insect bites, although we can't be certain where they originated.There were additional maintenance concerns. The shower head in the second-floor bathroom has a significant leak, the king bed on the main floor had ill-fitting sheets that repeatedly came off the corners, and the clothes dryer was extremely inefficient, requiring up to three cycles to dry a normal-sized load.The biggest disappointment was the lack of basic kitchen essentials. For a home that accommodates up to eight guests, we were surprised to find no spices (not even salt and pepper!), condiments, coffee filters, or coffee. Only two trash bags were provided for the entire stay, which was not sufficient for a larger group.For future guests, it would be helpful to provide a few basic cooking essentials, coffee filters, a small amount of coffee, additional trash bags, a few more beach chairs, and beach towels (you could charge a fee if not returned). We ended up spending several hours shopping for these basic necessities—time we would have preferred to spend enjoying the beach and making me

This property is clean and in a quiet culdesac in sandestin. All of the rooms are spacious. The neighborhood is quiet. The beds were comfortable and everyone slept well! The kitchen is equipped but lacks a few necessities such as pot holders, a second pot (this house sleeps 9), and wash clothes for the kitchen, a muffin pan. Otherwise no issues. Pack your own extras in laundry, bathroom, trash bags etc… There are beach items in the garage which saved us a TON. The sunrise and sunset are BOTH viewable from the back porch! Loved the porch!

Plenty of room. The garage came in very handy to store our bikes at night. We were able to walk out the back door on to the greens and watch the sunset on the bay every evening. The panoramic view of the bay was visible for miles. Could use just a little TLC The pool was closed for repairs. We plan to go back in a few weeks.

This condo is in a very quiet residential area in the Sandestin Resort golf club. The deck is screened in and looks out over the ocean Bay. They advertise kayaks however there is no good place to put them in if you don’t have a way to transport them to a launch pad. The unit does not come with a golf cart and you cannot get a rental golf cart because of HOA regulations, at least that’s what we were told. The tram turned out to be hit or miss and so luckily, we had a rental car and were able to get to the beach. The condo itself was well built, but appears to become someone’s cash cow because it is not being maintain well. There are water stains on the ceiling and spots on the wall that have been patched but never painted. You cannot park in the garage as it is full of furniture. There are restrictions, including the pool that was closest to the unit was closed the entire week we were there. you’re not allowed to walk on the golf cart trail that surrounds the condo. We enjoyed our stay, but I’m not sure I would rent this particular condo again. It certainly was not a dump by any means but does need some TLC, especially in the kitchen area. If you’re planning on having your family and cooking, be prepared to buy all the essentials. Cooking utensils, pots and pans and dishes are the only thing in the kitchen, I had to buy extra trash bags and paper towels As well as salt and pepper and basic seasoning. On a sidenote, the management group was superb.
