Hilton Hawaiian Village Lagoon Tower- pristine beachfront resort, private lagoon

Seems that you can't choose the room or the view but all the rooms seem like the same layout and the view is still Hawaii. Would have loved to pick the room but seems there's a pool of available rooms and they assign one. Its a timeshare/condo type building. The place is very kid friendly and lots of kids abound! The lagoon is cool! Like a big natural saltwater swimming pool that they keep really clean somehow. Looks like they kind of partially drain it every night and bring in fresh sea water every morning. Definitely seemed clean. They're even tiny little fish in there. You could rent paddle boards and those big three-wheel right on water tricycls. The swimming pool had some legit water slides. There was a little one, a medium one, and kind of big one. All this is pretty exciting for kids under say 15yo. The ocean beach kind of sucks. I mean the sand is nice and the palm trees are nice but it's chunky rocky in the water. And we're a long walk from Waikiki Beach. Still, its a beach and its Hawaii. There's lots of shops and fun things on the campus. This resort is like 25 acres. Its .25-.6 miles easy walk to the main Waikiki strip. I walked to the aquarium and back it was 5milles round trip. The host was super easy. Everybody was supportive on site. Easy. Turn key vacation. Would do it again.

Was great I'll definitely recommend it and we will try to come back hopefully to this hotel because we loved it
