This was our second visit to The Linhay in Paignton with all the family, and we absolutely love it here. Firstly, Jen, who owns the properties, is so helpful — nothing is ever too much trouble for her. The Linhay itself is superb, and the cleanliness is amazing. Everything you could possibly want is provided, even down to children’s books, which was such a thoughtful touch. We are already looking forward to returning again next year. It’s not very often that we go back to the same place, but the whole family love it here. Having worked in travel for over 30 years and now working for Marriott, my expectations are always high, and this place exceeded them all. Don’t hesitate to book — you won’t be disappointed. Our stay was amazing!

We stayed for 5 nights during half term and what can I say, it was perfect ! The house and settings were stunning, beautifully decorated and everything you could possible need and lovely extras such as coffee pods and biscuits. The hosts were really welcoming and very helpful. Our friends stayed next door and it worked perfectly, with 2 hot tubs it worked out perfectly a kids one and an adults one. Plenty of space for the children to play and run around, they enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the fire pit. Whilst it felt very remote and quiet, it was very accessible to supermarkets, take aways, towns and walks. Would highly recommend, with the set up of the 3 properties, its perfect for a family or friends get away.

Went as a group of mates for a weekend away here, and what a place to stay. Jen and Kev were brilliant and so welcoming. The house itself is amazing, a stunning place to stay with great decor and facilities. It had everything you need for a lovely holiday, the kitchen is well stocked, the house very clean and little things such as the hot tub towels and robes were a brilliant touch. It’s nestled away in the quiet countryside, but only minutes away from shops and other facilities. The views from the garden are gorgeous and the story behind how the created this lovely space is amazing. Would definitely recommend this place, I will definitely consider returning!

We had a wonderful time at the Linhay thanks to the very warm welcome and the excellent accommodation. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and made good use of the bathrobes and towels provided. The outside space was delightful looking down the valley across the old apple orchards. The BBQ went down well and the kitchen was well stocked for family meals. It was very peaceful and we hope to go back again.
