This is a great house for a family gathering! And the handicapped accessable wing, with ramp, wheelchair accessable shower, and grab bars for the toilet were an awesome bonus! There is no reason here that a mobility challenged person can't vacation with the family!Kitchen had 2 refridgerators, gas stove, and huge griddle that made cooking for a crowd easy!Loved it!!

The home is absolutely ideal for large groups and those coming to Lexington for events at The Virginia Horse Center, VMI or Washington & Lee. The house is massive with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Tons of parking as well. Our group loved all the space, the kitchen and the creek out back. This was our second stay in the home and would love to stay again in the future.

Property was very big and had a lot of room. The family really enjoyed being together in one place.

Only had 1 trash bag for a multi day stay with a large group. We had to buy our own toilet paper and paper towels because 1 roll of paper towels wasn’t going to do. Mold in bathroom shower. Dirty sheets on a bed. Water leaking through ceiling from shower above it onto a bed. The front porch was filthy and had been swept or the cobwebs cleaned in many months. The tables and chairs on porch were too filth to use—like not cleaned since last summer or longer kind of dirty. Yard was in disrepair and needed cleaning for spring and mowing. We had to pay over the normal rate due to high volume weekend for the area and still had these issues. . Lots of maintenance and repairs need to be done. I will say the size was perfect for a large group if you need lots of beds. Tons of potential if they will do some upkeep. Owner was kind and was apologetic… said it was because another group checked out that morning but some of the things were from long term dirt and mold. Not just previous visitor.
