Lily's Beach Bungalows

It’s been a wonderful weekend break!! To get to Lily’s Beach, arrive at Sihanoukville go to the harbour and catch the ferry (cost: $15–17 each way). Get off at Long Set harbour, where you have two options: a tuk-tuk (cost: $12.5–$20 each way) or hire a motorbike (cost: $8–10 per day). The Best coz u can go around the island :). From Long set to Lonely Lily's beach u Will take about a 30-minutes. If you’re travelling alone or as a couple, I’d 100 % recommend the motorbike: once you reach the pagoda, turn left, then carry on straight along a red gravel track there’s a parking area, which is as far as the tuk-tuks go. You can also venture a further 15 minutes on a motocross-style motorbike (if it’s raining) or walk; just follow the path on the right, signposted for Lily’s Beach, you’ll love it. A peaceful spot, tasty food at a very good price, bungalows with mosquito nets and bathrooms open at the sides of the roof, a shower with a totuma or bucket, and two windows that let in the sun in the mornings and afternoons. You can charge your devices in the restaurant. I'll would recommend bringing a torch/forehead torch and insect repellent for the afternoons and evenings. You can enjoy beautiful sunsets and release your mind!!!

Lonely Beach porte merveilleusement bien son nom. Après avoir découvert plusieurs plages de Koh Rong, celle-ci reste pour moi un endroit à part : sauvage, préservée, authentique… Une magnifique crique où l’on a cette sensation rare d’être seul au monde, comme Robinson sur son île déserte. Ici, le temps ralentit, le calme apaise et l’on retrouve un sentiment de liberté qu’on aimerait ne jamais quitter. Les bungalows lily’s sont simples, naturels, avec l’essentiel pour vivre au rythme de la plage et de la nature. Pas besoin de plus quand on a un tel décor devant soi ! Et surtout, il y a Lin et toute son équipe : des personnes exceptionnelles, toujours souriantes, attentionnées, d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité sincères. On s’y sent accueilli comme chez soi. L’accès demande un petit effort, notamment pour rejoindre les locations de scooters, mais c’est aussi ce qui préserve la magie du lieu. Et franchement, le détour en vaut largement la peine. Merci à Lin et à toute l’équipe de Lily’s Beach Bungalows pour cette parenthèse hors du monde. On vient pour quelques nuits… et on repart avec une seule envie : être resté plus longtemps ! Merci !🙏

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Lily’s beach bungalow. Le logement donne sur Lonely beach qui porte bien son nom car il n’y a personne à l’exception des personnes qui logent sur place. Le restaurant sur place est très utile car il est compliqué de se rendre à pieds au village le plus proche (30 minutes / 1h a pied). Il est possible de louer un scooter au village mais les routes sont en mauvaises états donc il ne faut pas avoir peur. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et drôles. Nous avons beaucoup aimé.

Les cabanes ne comprennent qu’un lit. Aucun meuble pour poser son sac. Cela aurait été utile car au bout de deux nuits nous nous sommes rendues compte qu’il y avait des punaises de lit dans notre chambre (room 8). Nous avons donc demandé à changer de bungalow, mais cela nous a handicapé pour la suite de notre séjour. Nous avons du prendre beaucoup de précautions et payer un scooter et aller à la laverie au port et laver toutes nos affaires. Un commentaire en avait déjà parlé mais c’était le seul et il y a plusieurs mois, nous pensions que c’était réglé.

The bungalow is a good size, and they are situated well it was clean .

The bedding could be better and the net had a few holes in it there wasn’t any shampoo or shower gel which was disappointing. And I feel it definitely needs a fan and a pug socket or more available in the restaurant as I couldn’t get a space for mine for some time . The location is what it says lonley beach, but the fire pit was nice in the evening.
