High in the Pines is a beautiful spot with a fitting name. The loblolly pines are abundant and captivating to watch swaying in the wind. We loved the fireplaces and outdoor living space the most and really wish the grill worked. We would love to come back and watch the armadillos wander around at night.

The house was beautiful! Great design and finishes! The floor plan for our group was perfect! The back deck we spent most of our time! There were some basic maintenance issues and cleaning issues we noticed. The front door seemed like someone had kicked it in at one point. The bottom latch keeps falling out of the front door. The vent hood in the kitchen had thick spider webs and dust, simple fix! Same thing with patio furniture. Not just a single web but thick webs like it’s been there awhile. One of the bedroom doors you had to lift up to close. A couple of rooms had used sheets. The grill outside seemed like it’s falling apart. Nothing horrible that we could deal with just unexpected for the price we paid.
